  1. not true. there are still pickpockets and whatnot around but it's definitely changed from then.


  2. Not true. Oliver Twist was a beggar and an orphan who lived in another century.

  4. London is far deeper than any movie...although the surveillance cameras did remind me of "1984," and the bureaucracy is reminiscent of "Brazil."

    Still, never judge a city by its movies...
