"I am an apple, you are an apple, we all are apples"?

I saw this on a few bumper stickers in Israel. It was in Hebrew, but I'm pretty sure this is an accurate translation.

Is there some story behind this?

Did someone just come out with a crazy bumper sticker?

Is this a new political party?

It is an ad for a Yemenite restaurant, "Halo, Teiman". It is a play on words, based on a Yemenite expression about well-satiated people. In the original expression, there is reference to "taafuchim", from the root "tficha", to swell/ to rise/to expand (as in "dough rises").  So, the ad jokes that its customers  "are all apples" (tapuchim), but implies that they are well-satiated (taafuchim).

I'm thinking it's a slogan for equality.  

I think it means:  "We are all the same."

Maybe it's referring to something like, "you may be bright and golden on the outside, but you're an apple inside, and you may be shiny and green on the exterior; but internally you're still an apple."
