  1. Slavery defiantly.  I'm surprise no one said that men and women had equal rights.

  2. let black people and women vote

  3. What I would do is that I would add an amendment that damands that the Government MUST tell it's american population about any new changes to the Constitution such as new Amendments,Acts,or Law in a specific detailed manner in order to avoide corruption and false flag events like 9/11

  4. I would make it illegal for any elected official or politician to serve more than two terms.

I would make it illegal for any elected official or politician

to earn more than the lowest-rank U.S. soldier earns.

I would make it illegal for any elected official or politician to ever function as a lobbyist, work for special interest groups, or in any way use his or her position to influence legislation or government policies.

I would make it illegal for any elected office or politician or bureaucrat to profit in any way (other than his salary while in office) from his position while in office, or after (s)he leaves office. Punishable as treason - by death.

I would make it illegal for a monopolistic, corrupt two-party political system to maintain a stranglehold on a our electoral process and allowing voters little choice - or voice - the election of candidates.

I would make it illegal for any relative of any elected official or politician to run for the same office.

I would make it illegal for any lobbyists, special interest groups or wealthy elitist individuals to make contributions to any political campaign.

I would make it illegal for any elected official or politician to work in any capacity that might allow him to bid on government contracts, or in any way earn any income from his or her political 'connections'.   -RKO-  07/13/08

    P.S. AND THAT'S JUST A START.

  5. Eliminate slavery, yes, that would have been nice.  Though a brief study of history would reveal that such a Constitution would not have been ratified.

As for me, I would clarify the second amendment--clean up the language so that it's not so subject to interpretation.

(RKO's response would eliminate most of the current members of Congress, while jeopardizing the continuity of government.)

  6. Slavery certainly. I would also spell out EXACTLY and PRECISELY the freedom of religion, so that there are NO misunderstandings in our day.

  7. Why would you go back in time to change it? The government and society already "change" it now or "interpret" it the why they want to fit there needs. The constitution is not followed the way it was written or the way it was intended to be. Here is just one of many examples. The constitution was written and based off Christian beliefs, but we use the word "God" in the pledge of allegance because it might offend someone. If you don't like it, don't say "God" when you say it. Also, how could it offend someone!!! There is a "God" in almost all religions. It doesn't say "Jesus"!!!

  8. term limitations on congressmen and women, and senators.

  9. There already have been several changes to the Constitution. They are called amendments. And one of them bans slavery.

In trying to decipher this vague question, I have to ask myself whether you are talking about changing the *main body* of the Constitution, ... which means the document which got proposed in 1787 by the Philadelphia Convention. Am I correct in assuming that is what you mean by going back in time? Before the enactment of any amendments?

If so, then I would agree with you that it would be wonderful to delete any references to slavery in the document and to ban slavery. Off the top of my head, that's the only thing I would try to change in terms of what happened at the 1787 Convention.

But I certainly have other ideas about changing amendments which were already adopted. Do you want to see what I am talking about?

    .

  10. I believe the founding fathers were geniuses....to this regard, I will only live by their example....what could I possibly change that wasn't already stalwart!

oh yea...by the way the constitution made all men equal....that's why we outlawed slavery......thanks to the Republicans who made it final.

  11. Black men and all women can vote. No slavery.

Limit the powers of the Executive Branch. No signing statements or FISA. Oversight of Cabinet Departments, no Department of War or Defense ever, no FISA.
