My "temporary" job that was assigned by a staffing agency has lasted a little over 3 years now. I got notified about a month ago that there was going to be a noticeable decrease in work and that I may be terminated at the end of 3 or 4 months. If I were to take one of those legit work at home jobs could I still get unemployment benefits from this job?

  1. If it sounds too good, it is!  Don't be scammed.  If your unemployment  is getting ready to end, you should of been looking legitimately this entire time to find employment rather than continuing to collect unemployment and waiting till the last minute.  My advice is to get off your duff and get a legitimate job.  Life is short, you can do it!  Go for the legal job not the work at home.  You will be able to work things out.  But my advice again is do not do one of the home jobs.  It will not be long term and you will be in the same situation.  Job!

  2. 99.999% of all "work at home" jobs are scams anyway so it shouldn't affect your unemployment.

  3. Having a job, means you are employed.

Taking unemployment benefits are for unemployed people.

    Simple :)

  4. No and don't think about it.
