"If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."?

It means that if you do what you love , instead of working, it will seem as though you are having fun.. and getting paid.

It means if you really love your job, it wouldn't seem like work at all.

If you love what you do, it will seem more like play than work.

An example:  I have a friend who is passionate about music.  He loves music.  He was a member of his high school band;; played in All State; won a music scholarship to college.  He became a music teacher and now instructs in school and privately.  Music is his life and he is in heaven!  He gets to 'play' every day and share it with others too.  : )
