Just got my appointment for my "Biometrics Exam".

I know what the exam is all about....

But what happens after that???

  1. They take your photo, your finger prints and an electronic version of your signature.

    This information is then processed for background checks, and for production of your immigration documents should you be approved for them.


  2. They use the information for a background check then if you are approved the next time you see that information, the photograph, fingerprint and electronic signature will be on your green card.

  3. What happens after your biometrics is... *drum rolls*... more processing. They'll use your biometrics for a background check but that's about the extent of what you'll ever know about the process.
