My teacher read this quote to my class last week I believe in it 100% do you? why?

"it is better to fail with honor than to succeed by fraud"

  1. Definitely true.

    I know many people who say that it doesn't matter what method you use, as long as you reach your goal, that's what counts. But I disagree. To me, to succeed by fraud is about the same as failing because you reached your goal using the wrong methods, meaning you did not gain any of the knowledge and experience that you should have gained.

    If you failed, well at least you know your limits now, at least you know you tried. And gaining some experience along the way is better than nothing.


  2. That's actually a really good quote. I think it is better to fail but to try your best and do it honorably than to succeed and cheated to get there. You don't succeed if you achieve your goals by deceit.
