What does that phrase mean in French? I can do everything which strengthens me - is that what it means?

By the way, what does "par celui" mean exactly?

  1. I can do everything through the one who strengthens me.

par means through celui means the one for a man. It can also mean "that" but here it's more likely to mean the one as a person, otherwise unless several things have been enumerated before, we would use "ce qui" to translate "that".

  2. It means:"I can do everything (anything) by (through) that which strengthens me."

'Par celui' can mean 'through that', 'by that', etc.

Celui means 'that' in a masculine way.

Note: You can substitute the words in parenthesis for those right in front of them.

  3. "Then, by all that which strenthens me..."
