  2. Cabo San Lucas is one town and San Jose del Cabo is another close by town--together they are referred to as "LOS CABOS."  

  3. Hola!  The phrase "Los Cabos" describes the entire area of the cape that includes the towns of Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the Corridor.  You will find most travel agents use this wording because when booking a resort, they don't want to have to explain where the resort really is.
