Isaac Cuenca was pleased with his side’s victory over Granada in midweek and heaped praise over Lionel Messi.
Cuenca started the match and was able to put up an excellent performance for the current Spanish Champions, as Barca stepped out on the field to face Granada.
However, it was Messi who stole the show as he scored an outstanding hat-trick, putting his name in the record books once again.
The Argentine’s treble took his goal tally for La Blaugrana to 234 goals and the forward is now the all-time highest goal scorer for the Catalan giants.

The Spanish U23 star expressed that it is hard not to be amazed by the skill and technique of the little wizard, and considers it an honour to be playing alongside the prolific forward.
The 20-year-old remarked that Messi will always be the best footballer for him, stressing that no other player possesses the same abilities as him.

Cuenca then went on to discuss the win over Granada, expressing that there is still a lot to play for in La Liga.
"We managed to score more goals to win the game. I feel great. The Liga title is difficult to win but we have to see if we can keep on winning out matches in order to keep our possibilities open," he stated.
