The legendary footballer believes that Madrid’s elimination from Europe at the hands of Bayern was the only low point of the season.
Real Madrid’s Sporting Director, Zinedine Zidane, has claimed that the club’s exit from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of German giants, Bayern Munich, was the only disappointing bit in an otherwise perfect season.
The retired veteran was full of appreciation for the Spanish giants as he went on to admire their performance throughout the current season’s campaign.

Interestingly, Zidane is the player who scored the winning goal for Madrid in their last European triumph in 2002.
The Frenchman observed that playing in Europe is highly prestigious and stressed that it is fascinating because you can expect anything to happen.
While talking to reporters, the 39-year-old was quoted as saying:
"There are moments in which everything falls on your side and others when it doesn't. Penalties are somewhat anecdotal. The 10th European cup is a necessity for this club, we have to try and get it next year and go as far in the tournament as possible."

"Karim still has a great progression left in him. This season he has demonstrated the potential he has and we saw in him,” he added.
