The renowned Spaniard has taken out time to emphasize that Los Blancos are a team which are not dependant on an individual to keep progressing.
Spanish rally driver, Carlos Sainz, has expressed that Real Madrid are too great a club to depend on anyone, even Jose Mourinho. He added that the team will continue to remain strong, even if the Special One chooses to part ways with them.
Apparently the retired driver is a Madrid fan as he had a lot to talk about when it came to the nine-time European champions. That Sainz opined that he can easily imagine Madrid without Mourinho at the helm. He added that a historic team like Los Vikingos
does not require professionals or individuals to keep them going.
He went on emphasizing that the Whites have outlasted many managers in the past. He even mentioned that no player or board member can individually affect the progress of the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.
Moving on, the Spaniard admired the Portuguese mentor as a great coach. However, he maintained that his departure will not have an everlasting effect over the current Spanish champions.
"Of course I can imagine a Madrid without Mourinho because that is a possibility. Madrid is a historic club that has outlasted and will outlast any manager", he said.
"Madrid is more than any manager, any president or any player. It's an institution that carries sufficient weight to come through any situation. Mourinho is a great coach but if he decides to go or if they decide to dispense with his services, Madrid won't
crumble because Mourinho or any player goes.”
The driver then went on to discuss the situation of the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings and asserted that Los Merengues need to catch up on Barcelona in order to compete.
"Of course, in this case, we want Barça to be as close as possible. We want http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in closer range. As a Madrid fan, logically I'd like Madrid to have a better chance of winning la Liga".
