"Magic Jack"... is it c**p or does it work??

Heya everyone!

I recently purchased a Magic Jack so I wouldn't have to pay At&t a monthly phone bill.

When I tried hooking it up, I had several problems with the sound system. When I tried to contact customer service, I realized they had no phone number, only an online help chatline. I'm thinking about just sending the whole thing back because in order to make it work, I'd have to set up my computer and phone in a different room... and frankly dealing with all those wires doesn't sound worth it!

Has anyone else purchased the Magic Jack?

What are your opinions??
