No Direct train service is available from Mumbai.Only best Way is to go from Mumbai to Delhi and Pick up a bus or hire taxi as per your budget.as far as Mubai to Delhi plenty of trains are available but getting tickets in this summer vacation will be a problem any way have a nice vacation at Manali and enjoy with your family.if you can afford you can take a flight from Delhi to Manali that will also good way to reach.

No train service to Manali.

From Mumbai Bandra Terminus take Paschim Express (Mumbai-Amritsar) to Shimla. Change over to hill train at Kalka. From Shimla you can travel by taxi to Manali. Getting reservations in vacation season will be difficult.
