"Marvelous" Marvin Hagler vs. Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather who'd win?

This is an interesting question but the answer is obvious, Marvin hagler would knock out Mayweather jr. easily, Marvin is considered by many to be the greatest all time for his division, he was a complete fighter, he  possessed power,speed,skills, a good chin and aggression ( in my opinion he was the closest any fighter has ever come to the legendary sugar ray robinson) and could hang in there with anyone, Mayweather Jr. has a great defense (one of the best in boxing) and great counter punching abilty as well as a good chin, but he does not have the power to go against someone like Hagler, Sugar ray Leonard barely managed to beat Hagler(in my opinion Hagler was the better fighter in that fight) and Mayweather jr. is essentially a smaller and more technical version of leonard so I seriously doubt that he would be able to keep hagler at bay and take Hagler's punches through out the fight. Hagler would knock him out somewhere in the early mid rounds.

Mayweather would have no chance, Marvin Hagler would easily destroy Floyd.  Hagler's got to be pushing 50 and hasn't been in the ring in decades, and I would still bet on Marvin if they fought today, with Floyd in top physical condition, and Marvin past middle aged and inactive.  It would be like putting an old lion in a cage with a young house cat, who would win?  The lion wins every time.

I rank Hagler as the 2nd greatest middleweight champ (tie with Monzon) of all time and many would argue and say he's the best ever!  Hagler was an old school no nonsense fighter who had all the skills, great boxing ability, power, toughness, and an iron jaw.  Mayweather is the welterweight champion and would have to move up in weight and is nowhere as physically strong as Hagler and would not be able to come close to hurting him.  So he would have to definetly fight Hagler on the run with Hagler in pursuit.  Hagler would catch him in the 3rd round with a wicked left hand and send Mayweather Jr to the canvas for the 10 count.

Reading these answers is a little frustrating, you can't just throw out a predicition of a guy getting KOd easily if he's never even been knocked down in his career.  Clearly there would be a big size and strength advantage, but Hagler had that against Leonard too and didn't come close to knocking him out.

I think Hagler could win a clear decision because in addition to the size he had, he was very skilled.  

But a lot of people on here have to learn to respect great "boxers" - Floyd is a excellent technician, he trains 365 days a year and has been perfecting his craft since he was 5.  I'm not a huge fan of his style or demeanor, but you can't knock his work ethic and skill level.  No one can just walk over a fighter of his caliber, I don't think he "game-plans" as well as Sugar Ray, but Hagler would have his hands full with Floyds lighting speed, great defense, and underrated power.
