"Mile High"?

my friends always laugh @ me cos i want 2 be a airline pilot, and they think i only want to be 1 cos' of the whole "mile high sx" thing - NOT TRUE!!!! i tell 'em 2 p**s off and all but is that wat pilots really do when they fly wt girl co/pilots ?????????? i am a girl and i dont wanna get envolved in tht!!!!

Wow that has to be the dumbest tease/joke ive ever heard in my  life. No its not what pilots do. Go to your friends and call them big ol dumbasses for being imature about such an innocent thing. If you want to get back at them go around and act all stupid around a friend next time she does her hair nice or something and say, "YOU ONLY DID YOUR HAIR NICE TO HAVE s*x BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!" and just be a complete idiot and see how she likes it. The Christian in me says ignore the whole thing, but the devil in me says do what i just told you....haha.

Considering the extensive effort that you put into your spelling, I seriously doubt that you will ever have to worry about being harassed as a pilot.

They really think that pilots would indulge in fancy foot work while their every words are recorded by the CVR? And that they have to contact the air traffic controllers regularly, and check for other aircraft, and monitor the weather radar to avoid storms?

Even seen an airliner cockpit? Where could someone do anything, the place is chock full of instruments and panels, there is hardly any room to sit at all.

So, I have two recommendation for you.

1- ditch your stupid "friends"

2- make the effort to spell properly. "2" as a substitute for "to" only displays laziness, and that is not really good for an aspiring pilot.

Yeah this is not really something that happens on the flight deck.  Sounds kind of like a porno script.  I bet it has happend at least once in the history of airlines, but it is not what pilots are thinking when they are flying with girs.  They jsut think about what they will do when they get back on the ground.  I did work with a girl who was hired to fly right seat on a Citaiton and judging by her personality and looks and the people she flew for I think she was called to the back a few times to assist with things.  After she lined up with the highway one night thinking it was the runway, hot starting and burning up an enigine, and freaking out during a thunderstom she got her type rating in a chair and desk and never flew for them agian. She had no business operating a bicycle let alone a jet.  She was the sterotype of a dumb blond. in fact if you looked it up in the dictionary you would see her.  If I ever get on an airline and see her as a pilot I will seriously remove myself from that flight.

no way most pilots are very strict on doing there jobs and take it very serious you dont have ne thing to worry about ur friends are just giving u a hard time dont listen about it and dont let something so stupid mess with what u want to do
