"Mirrors" Movie, Attention: SPOILER?

What was with the end of the movie? The last scene? Was he trapped in the mirror because he got killed, if you noticed, everything was backwards? or was he in the mirror world?

They explained that people that are killed by the mirrors get their souls trapped in it.

Yeah he died so then he went on the other side of the mirror.

I was confused at first but then i got it.

Everything was backwards and no one could see him.

And when he looked in the mirror he wasen't there.

yeah. supposedly he was fighting for his life with that so called demon. and he died when that big thing landed on him

and like now he's trapped and is in this mirror world. supposedly his soul and no one can see him.
