Question:

"Mode not supported on Samsung TV with Home Theater?

hey guys..

I just bought a Samung home theater to hook up to my Samsung HDTV. I have it working well with my Xbox and satelite box. When I try to use its DVD player, I just get a black screen with "mode not supported". I can hear the audio but I cant see anything.

I have tried switching out the HDMI cable for component cables with no luck.

I cant see the DVD menu as the screen is black..

Any ideas? This is sooo frustrating.

  1. Mode not supported usually means there is something about the DVD the player does not like. Are you playing DVDs that are the correct region for the player, were the DVDs something that was downloaded off the net and burned with a non standard program? Will the DVDs play in another player? There are a lot of possibilities
