"Morning sickness" at 27 weeks?

I'll be 27 weeks on Friday, and since the beginning I vomit every single time I eat. The thing is, the doctors don't admit me into the hospital since I am able to keep *some* fluids down. Nothing I do seems to help. Even eating lighter, fresh fruits, etc. NOTHING works. I'm ready to literally rip my fking hair out. I'm so sick of throwing up. HELP!?!?

  1. You should ask your doctor about Diclectin.  It is a prescription made specifically for nausea and morning sickness in pregnancy.  I live in Canada.. and I was able to get it.  Im not sure where you live, but it would be worth a try!

Keep your stomache full  ( I know, I know, you're saying.. I just told you I cna't keep anything down.)  but honestly it really does help.  I know it's hard, but the nausea will be lessened if you have food in your stomache at all times.  Im not saying pig out all day.  but eat lightly every couple of hours.   If your doctor doesn't seem to be helping you with this then maybe you should be getting asecond opinion.

  2. some women can have sickness the entire pregnancy - i was sick with my son up until 16 weeks not as long as you but i understand how frusturating it can be! just think of the joyus outcome you're about to recieve and it will make you feel better :)

best of luck & God bless!

  3. try drinking a vitamin water or life water, they have vitamins in them that will help you since food isn't going down.

  4. A suggestion would be to go see your antenatal dr and speak to them about safe anti-nausea tablets.  I took maxalon (which is safe) it helped me with morning sickness.  There are other meds out there.  Don't suffer when you needn't be, you want to enjoy being pregnant, not hate being sick.

    All the best. :0)

  5. Don't drink coffee.

  6. It can be morning sickness.  It can come on any time in pregnancy for any duration.  You could try eating smaller amounts and trying a few soda crackers about 10 - 15 min before eating and avoid drinking fluids before your meal or during.  I noticed that this really helped me.

  7. I have been so lucky to never have any morning sickness the entire (almost) 30 weeks so far, but I have a friend who had the same problem, and when it wasn't better by like 18 weeks, they put her on a prescription medication.  She was literally to the point where she couldn't get out of bed to even walk to the kitchen to try to eat, and when she talked to her doctor about it enough, they finally told her there was medication they could give her that wouldn't hurt the baby.  We live in California and it is available here.  I would try asking your doctor about that.

  8. or any caffine

  9. I know what you're going through.  I am 20 weeks and still have morning sickness.  Have you tried eating every 2 hours so that you won't have an empty stomach?  My ob/gyn put me on medication because I was losing weight.  He told me I need to gain weight and that is the reason I was getting medication.  It helps a lot cuz now I can keep food down and I'm gaining weight.  Good luck with everything!

  10. i was the same way as you, all the way until like 33 weeks, it sucked! I totally understand, but really there isn't much you can do about it other than knowing it doesn't last forever!

have you tried the meds? like zofran. didn't work for me(I had hyperemisis graviderum so I vomited 50+ times a day) but I hear it works well for a lot of women

  11. Whats your question, morning sickness returns in some with the beginning of the 3rd trimester, if you have already seen your doc about it, there is no question.  Eat some crackers

  12. My mom had this problem, she was sick all 9 months with me. She told me that the only thing that helped was eating Grapefruit. She also said that she just accepted the fact that she was going to throw up, and ate as much as she could anyways since she knew she needed the nutrition.

  13. Go to a different dr. and get another opinion I had the same issue w/ my first and they gave me a  rx to take to make me stop.

Also, I heard that if you have gestational diabetes this will occur.  I read that if you eat a lot of fruit in the beginning of a pregnancy that the sugars and acids will cause this it.  This is what happened to Salma Hyak the actress.  I read it at americanbaby.com somewhere.  Good Luck.
