Yes most ducks and geese can fly at a speed ranging from 60 to 70 mph however, their usual flying speed is much slower.  At it's 40 mph cruising speed, the mallard can out fly the teal, which cruises along at 32 mph.  But if pressed, both birds can fly around a total of 60 mph.
