  1. It means that whoever thought this up and believes himself to be a clever quipster has more yen than zen.


  2. A lot of today's homework is 'busy work', and a lot of the work involved in modern college applications is 'bs'.

  3. It's a cynical sneer at formal education saying that homework and college are a waste of your time that takes time away from truly expanding your knowledge.

    It is a crock, and mean-spirited at that.
