  22. You hired me to do a job, I do that job to the best of my ability, I sacrifice my life and limbs to do that job, I do the things you are too afraid to do yourself, I sleep in mud or sand so you can sleep in a comfortable bed, I eat food that you would not feed your dog while you dine on only the best, I am paid less than many fast food employee's, I do all this for you because you hired me. So if you have a problem with the job I am doing fire me and do the job yourself, otherwise shut the F*** up and let me do my job keeping you safe and comfortable.

  23. The answer is yes. Which ever way you wrap the question up in the flag, your statement is obvious, that what soldiers do.

  24. And the generals said: "We don't want our boys dead..."

And like fools we trust the delivery but it's all just drunk sincerity.

Soldiers seem more like cannon fodder to me. They have more chances to be killed rather than kill.

  25. Little one,

    No.

    Don't think so

    Look in the real world.

    As Freedom Fighters.

They are not out there at their own whims and fancy.

    They are out there.

To save the Freedom of all the little ones out there in time.

    For the good of man-kind.

In making this world a better place to live in time.

With their blood sweat and tears.

In the creation of peace on earth goodwill to men in time..

    Look around.

Where does one get the Freedom to stand on one inch of the land.

    Without them being out there?

Never ever try and kick them on their butts when one is not out there with self lack of knowledge being expose in time.

    What do you think?

  26. Soldier, by definition of dictionary.com, means "One who serves in the army"

Now, if you think about ancient Greece, in Sparta, the males were forced into military and athletic school at the age of 7, and had to serve in the army at the age of 20. They were not hired. They were drafted. This was often the case in many old civilizations. They were therefore, not hired killers, but were instead made to be soldiers to fight in a time of war.

Modern soldiers are in fact, hired killers, however, as that is their job. It is not their job to "bring peace", it is their job to fight. There is no getting around this. You have to look at several aspects, IE in the Vietnam war, most of the soldiers were forced to fight, but were hated for what they were forced to do.

So yes, Soldiers are hired killers, but the only offensive part of the statements is that fact that it says "Nothing more"

So if I were a veteran of WW2 or the Vietnam war, yes I would take offense to this. However, I am not a veteran, so I do not take personal offense to it. It is however politically incorrect.

  27. Soldiers are people with a duty and an order from their country.  Or also seen to their country as a hero.

  28. I depends I mean they kinda are I do not believe in war

  29. Personally, I would respond, "Yes we are, and if you don't get the F*** outta my face, I will show you what I get paid to do!"

    But that's just me...

Really, it makes me laugh (and shake my head in disbelief) when people in this county speak poorly of the men and women in uniform.  The very right to speak their thoughts are protected, no... given to them by these people.  In this day and age, with a deployment nearly guaranteed upon enlistment, you have to ask why someone would decide to join.  Perhaps they are some psychopath that just wants to kill someone... but I prefer to think that they still believe that the rights that we all enjoy are worth fighting (and possibly dying) for.

    Again, that's just me

  30. It is those same hired killers that give you the right to voice your opinion & your welcome

  31. Prick.
