  1. It means that some people have the potential to achieve greatness, or rise to confront a challenge which they, and possibly everyone else, felt they were not capable of. Other people swell outwardly and appear to be in control or make themselves seem important, when, in fact, it's all a show. They're phony. My mother had a saying about such people, she said, "Their head is too big for the crown."


  2. Some people thrive when given responsibility, while others let the power get to their heads.

  3. Some people will use their power to accomplish or help others, some will use it for their own gain.
