"Sometimes WE limit our own options." - How far do I agree/disagree with this statement?

  1. Hmm..I don't really know what this line mean..I think it says about   making decisions in our life where we tend to put aside the things we we really wanted to do because we're so afraid that we might be choosing the wrong decision. We know what to do in every situation but things become complicated because of other factors that matter to us. It might also mean that we are afraid of risking things that's why we tend to play safe and let go of opportunities that might change our life.


  2. We limit our own options by setting limits to what we will accept. As a minor example, I want to eat. There are an infinite number of choices of what to eat. But I don't eat mushrooms, veal, or fried foods. Therefore, I've limited my own options of what to eat.

    We limit our own options in order to stay within the boundaries that we've all set for ourselves, keeping us safe, healthy and happy... or so we assume...
