If you spank your kids, do you actually take them "over your knee"? Or is that just an expression?

PS- I'm not looking for a spanking debate, I just wanted to know.

  1. well that really depends on how old the child is! if she or he is a teenager Don't have him over the knee because thats just sexually abusing! if under the age of 12, over the knee! use a belt! it works!

  2. I have almost always got it over the knees.

  3. Yes, pants down, under ware on

  4. I take them over my knee.

want me to demonstrate on you?

  5. r u crazy? jus kiddn! really though i've seen some parents jus smack their kid on the bottom even some give em kick! Jerks! my day care lady spanked my  2 yr old son on the hand, we dont use that day care any more. I guess it all depends on what kind of person you are.

  6. My children get "taken over the knee". Its really a good way to control the child while giving the spanking. If your spanking them while they are standing up, then more than likely they are trying to get away and doing a lot of squirming If they are turned over, then they have to focus on the spanking and why they are getting it.

  7. Never kids. Girlfriends yes.

  8. Not for punishment but when we play butt drums the kids will lay across our laps and we play their bottoms like drums(gently, with diapers on, and all in fun).  They get a real kick out of it.

  9. only if they have to be held down, helps with the leverage you know.

  10. Yes, we ALWAYS put our children over the knee (lap) for spankings. Why? It's what works best, and also supports their back.

  11. Not when you use a wooden spoon.  You just can't get a good swing that way.

  12. I wouldnt take them over my knee. No need for that.

  13. just expression.
