I think test cricket is real cricket; but odi & t 20 are fast game and time saver game. So both are good in its stage. In test cricket we can see actual game of player.  and in one day/20 20 cricket we can see quick result

Yes Test Match Cricket and First Class cricket is in my opinion the real deal.  One day cricket had its day and it was innovative but I never really understood what the purists meant when they said it would lead to irrational shot selection; until they invented Twenty/20.  Now I know what they mean.  Its a slog fest.  

Twenty/20 is a slug fest but if they want to make cricket an  international game and appeal to a truly international market then this is the perfect vehicle to tantalize the international palate.  It will appeal to this generations taste for instant gratification; more action in a short time frame and it is very exciting.  I think it will be harmful because it will eliminate cricket players who diligently push for singles and who are patient enough to compile a century such as Geoffrey Boycott.  

Today's batsmen and especially the opening or top order batsmen for Australia, there aggressive style is due to one day internationals; every ball is a scoring opportunity and they take every opportunity to take the shine off the ball by taking the bowler out of the test.  Those days are gone when you have a batsmen like Michael Atherton who could save a test through batting patiently.  It was rare then it will be non existent now.

That's the price you pay when you want to appease the masses, sacrifices are made.

i tell you what, if they only wanted to have one form of cricket, i know which form i would want to stay and watch, and the game wouldnt last just one day or less!!

Today in a so  busy world ppl do not have a time to watch a cricket game for 5 days so t20 &odi's is a better way to save time & even is very interesting.

The change for everything is important according to the change of the generation. And the ODI and T 20 is the cricket of the present generation. This will be changed when the next generation comes.

Yes test cricket is the most pure form of cricket but odis and even t20 to an extent provide variation to the game which by over killing it with playing so much t20 in the ipl is hurting the game but test cricket odi and t20's if all played in moderation especially t 20 would be good with cricket being in a good balance because variation ensure one form of cricket wont be over done

Test criket is the real cricket but today no one has a time to watch a cricket match for 5 days.

ODI's and T-20 matches are quicker and its also not so boring.

So both have their own place.

Test cricket is by far the best, however i woudnt want to go and see a test match, however i would love to see a 20-20 match, because when you are at the ground, all you want to see is sixes and fours being hit, and you dont care who it is.
