  1. i too think the prayer wall was a gimmick.  i think to put him into office will be a big mistake.  he could visit the soldiers without the media if he cared

  2. Do you MCain supporters care about the truth?  If you are serious about winning this election it's time you guys start talking about real issues. Printing and saying false things only work with people who are small minded like yourself and does nothing to help your party win.

  3. wow.. its really sad that the media loves him so much.... I guess he returns the favor by not visiting the troops that he loves to act like he appreciates... only because the media was not allowed to go with him...

    he's a phoney

  4. he's been their "golden boy" ever since he started running for the presidency over 2 yrs ago.

  5. a rock star.

  6. No, Obama is not a "media made man."  That is as much of an answer on this vapid question as you're going to get from me.

However, I would like to address Rob C's patently ridiculous and demonstrably false statement.  Obama did not cancel his visit to the wounded troops at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany because the media was not allowed to go with him.  He never intended to take the media with him, and at any rate the media is not allowed in such facilities.  Obama knew this from the start.

The issue was that Obama wanted to bring along one person -- one -- a retired general who was a volunteer with the Obama campaign on security matters.  The Pentagon was fully apprised of Obama's intentions for weeks before the scheduled visit, but waited until just before the visit was to take place to inform Obama that he couldn't bring his advisor with him, because the advisor was a part of Obama's "political campaign."  This indicated that the trip would possibly be perceived as a mere political maneuver, particularly by the wounded troops themselves, so Obama decided to cancel rather than let that happen.  He was going to be criticized whether he visited or not, which has turned out to be the case, so Obama chose to take the hit rather than politicize the visit.

You can criticize Obama for his policies, his voting record, or his plans for when he becomes president.  I myself am critical of several of his actions.  But you cannot simply make up stuff, and I would, and have, taken the same stance with McCain.  What I have outlined above are the facts.  Take it or leave it.

Addendum:  To krazykyngekorny -- public records in fact show that Obama was born in Hawaii, not Chicago.  Yes, his father left the family when Obama was about two, but his mother remarried, so Obama was not raised solely by his "white mother," and there is no evidence for resentment, as you assert.  Also, I find if mystifying that you refer to Obama's "previous family in Africa."  Who is this "previous family," pray tell?  If Obama was born in Chicago, as you claim, or in Hawaii, as records show, how could he have a "previoius family" in Africa.  If you are referring to his relatives on his Kenyan biological father's side, that's what's called an "extended" family, not a previous one.

  7. What audacity! Barack is the Messiah! The liberals have said so! How dare you insult (dare I say?) Jesus Christ? (that's who the real Messiah is.)

When he was in Jerusalem, he said he was there to visit his birthplace. Oops! Jesus was NOT born in Jerusalem. He was born in Bethlehem.

Besides, public records show that Obama was born in Chicago. He's a product of the hood.

And, his black father abandoned him when he was young, as he did his previous family in Africa. Yeah, Obama came from a deadbeat dad, and was raised by his white mother. What he is or ever will be he owes to a white mother, and he resents that.

  8. The Western Wall issue is something to be taken seriously. It is a complete invasion of privacy and regardless of whether you support Barack Obama or not, it is a case of ethics. The reason behind why you won't hear many talking about stolen prayers from the Western wall is due to the fact that the people who steal it won't make a lot of money from stealing it. This snowballs down to the Media, who know that they wouldn't get high ratings on reporting what they believe to be 'worthless'. The Journalist that went to search for Barack's prayer knew that he could make big bucks of off it.

Secondly, before you make your mind up on whether the Media loves Barack, I want you to at least have the courtesy to watch the following video and make up your own mind:

    http://foxattacks.com/blog/32376-fox-att...

The Media is on both sides of the fence. The Media has always been known to exaggerate things to the brink that it is almost fallible. Barack Obama is constantly tainted by the Media on what his actual beliefs are. According to UStoday, 1 in 10 people believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim, even though he has constantly highlighted his Christian beliefs [source: http://www.usatoday.com]. The video that I asked you to watch politely even compares Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler! That is the ultimate insult, made by a wide new reporter like Fox. Think about how many watch Fox, and think about how many will start drawing conclusions with:

    > Muslim

    > Hitler

Therefore Barack Obama being the 'AntiChrist' (Such title is generally attributed to him on colossal sites like Youtube).

It is really upsetting that the Media, arguably meant to be simply a source of information, is injecting all these Neo-n**i, false beliefs onto the general populace. John McCain doesn't get nearly as much publicity on his mistakes (another short video will illustrate how many times he wavers the truth, yet he has the guts to call other people 'wish-washers' lol): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEtZlR3zp...

  9. Here is yet another link on this subject, Me and plenty of others on this site have posted links to the study that was done and reported  by MSNBC, that shows by pure numbers that although the Media talks about Obama more, 72% of the opinions are negative   as opposed to 57% negative towords McCain. I am sure if you spend time on this site you have seen it too, so I can only assume that this is another one of those questions asked to feed into a false, widely held assumption.
