A paragraph that begins like that and goes on about tobacco and whisky fumes, 'final demand bills and so on. Think it is Victorian.

  1. Humour ,as you must know,is found in any facet of human life ,culture and conduct,nothing is immune,this has been the case since mankind first drew breath,so it is hardly victorian.You do have the "in" jokes from differing periods ,but nothing much changes the basic theme.
