  2. I don't know where that exact quote comes from.  I don't have my books readily available, but I do want to say that chapter 13, 14, or 15 (I'm going off memory) of "The Absorbent Mind" deals exclusively with the hand and the importance of the hand in developing intellect.

    You might want to look through whatever chapter that is.  If you don't find that exact quote, you'll probably find something very similar.
