The Portuguese defender has hit out at La Blaugrana once again as he has offered a rebuttal to Iniesta’s claims of being offended.

Real Madrid’s Pepe has taken another jibe at his side’s rivals Barcelona as he has asserted that the truth has the propensity to be hurtful.
Earlier to his latest statement, the footballer had accused La Blaugrana players of play-acting and diving. He expressed that the Catalans have the tendency to be theatrical in order to gain an advantage over their opponents.
The Portuguese international spoke in reference to Sunday’s El Clasico and added that Barca players acted on the same lines once again as they attempted to gain the advantage of a spot-kick against Los Vikingos.
Although such remarks may have some degree of truth attached to them, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604’s Andres Iniesta voicing his disdain in order to rebuff them.
Iniesta expressed that he is offended by these remarks and that his side are not reliant on diving in order to achieve success or the upper hand.
He also voiced that such statements cross boundaries and these boundaries should never be crossed.
According to the Spanish international, he was personally targeted and that such remarks should be avoided.
However, Pepe has decided to stand-by his initial comments and added that his observations were taken as offensive because they were true.
While addressing the press, the 29-year-old was quoted as saying:
“If anybody feels offended it's because the truth hurts. I just said what truly happened during the game.”
The Portuguese international is certainly not the first one to accuse Barcelona of diving, since a number of athletes have pointed this out on numerous occasions before.
At one point, the Catalan giants were the only champions of Europe who were heavily accused of diving and play-acting.
Players such as Cesc Fabregas, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979 have greatly dented their side’s reputation over the past few seasons.
Busquets, in particular, has been seen as a player who would do anything to gain an advantage over Barca’s opponents in any given competition.
Apparently, the other members of the squad are also more inclined to do it lately.
