The former Atletico Madrid star has heaped praise over his national side and has maintained that La Roja’s glory days are far from over.

the international stage.
Recently the Spaniards were successful in defending their European crown in this year’s instalment of the Euro.
Just like the Euro 2008, it was the Red Fury who emerged triumphant from the latest edition of the coveted competition.
By winning the most recent European Championship, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 have managed to become the first side to win three consecutive international titles along with becoming the only side to win the Euro consecutively.
Many believe that La Furia Roja’s run as the dominant force in football is nearing its end; however, Torres insists that the World champions can still assert their superiority over others.
The player revealed that his teammates are not finished with the celebrations, while emphasizing that he is looking forward to more action with his national side.
While talking to reporters, the 28-year-old quoted:
"There is a lot more left for this team to achieve. We have a lot of ambition and targets ahead of us. We will enjoy the celebrations, of course, but our heads are already turned to the Confederations Cup [in 2013] and the World Cup [in 2014].”
"It has not been easy. To win three consecutive major tournaments had never happened in the history of the game, so we have to value it. The numbers say this team is the best. But, luckily, we are not finished yet. Of course I want more. It is clear. When
you win, you want more.”
After scoring three goals in three appearances for Spain, Fernando Torres won the Golden Boot in the Euro 2012.
