"They can dish it out, but they can't take it" meaning?

what exactly does it mean?

It means that u can give out a certain behavior but you cant take it back in return. like if you yell at people all the time but then if someone yells at you you cry. Or if u always judge people and then u get mad when people judge you.

It usually means someone is quick to insult or poke fun at people, but becomes upset when someone else insults them.  

It can really be applied to any situation when someone can't handle a "taste of their medicine," if you will.

It basically means that some one can say something to someone else and have no problem with it; but if said person were to say it to THEM, then they wouldn't be able to handle it.
