Vegans: do you go for food that has massages like this one?

Why do you feel it is alright or why do you not?

  1. I guess I'm okay with foods like that because I'm a vegan and I'm trying to avoid animal products as best as I can. And by buying vegan food it shows that there is more of a demand for a certain vegan food, so the manufactures make more of that certain food and less of a one that isn't as popular. The less popular food could have dairy in it, so they don't need as much dairy which make the cow milkers milk less cow, which makes the cows happier.


  2. That statement exists on packaging mostly because there are too many lawyers in the world combined with the fact that some people have food allergies.

I'm fine with foods like that because it doesn't mean that there's dairy in there, just that there's enough chance of cross-contamination that they have to warn allergy sufferers to prevent lawsuits.  If vegan companies have to share factory space in order to bring their products to market, we're sending the wrong message by refusing those products.  I would rather risk a microgram of milk in my otherwise vegan food in order to help create market demand for vegan foods.

  4. I do not let it bother me but what does a massage have to do with veganism?
