Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho lets his emotions run free as he bowed before his players after Los Blancos broke another record in La Liga.
As this season’s Spanish Primera campaign reached its conclusion, the newly crowned champions of the Liga BBVA threw quite a celebration in front of their home fans.
Los Vikingos took up the challenge of Mallorca at the Bernabeu as they were on the verge of securing a 100 points in the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings.
After beating Mallorca 4-1, the nine-time European champions managed to attain a 100 league points in La Liga, a feat which has never been achieved in the history of the prestigious football league.
The fixture was also the last game of this year’s La Liga calendar and represented a last chance for the Spanish giants to break the record. Although Los Merengues were less successful in the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League, there is no doubt that their performance this season has been outstanding.
