  1. When the tsunami hit Asia 2 years ago, scientists said the earthquake threw the Earth off its orbit--by about .00000000001 seconds or less. How that was to be calculated is beyond me; I'm no physicist.

But if an earthquake can do that little amount to the orbit of the earth, how much of the "butterfly effect" do you think messing with a flower is going to have on another star that is 40 or 4,000,000 light years away?

  2. I have also harbored this view at one time, but I no longer know.  If it is true, the entire universe screams.  Have you ever paused to think about how many animals are slaughtered in the USA for food alone?  Animals who are slaughtered for "entertainment?"  Insects?  Animals in the wild?  World wide and not just in the USA?  Creatures who are subjected to various levels of pain and suffering ranging from the smallest organism to plants, animals, and more?  The humans who die horribly every day?  And just that image of a blood-stained planet is just our own little earth.  If these things are not to be desired and we are all connected in their doing then it is to my view that something is terribly wrong.

  3. yes. we are part of the universe, think of the word "uni" as in one and "verse" as in word. it is said that this universe was created by the the mere utterance of a single word. GOD. yes we are all intercontected parts of everything we see.-blurey
