"Today" content & scrolling headlines on My Yahoo page?

Is there any way to stop the "Today" content section from rotating through the headlines? It's quite annoying that the page size keeps changing as the section rotates through the top stories. (Firefox browser)

on the My Yahoo page click on "Change Layout" when that opens you'll see were you can add and subtract from your columns, or even add columns
