"True Freedome is Bondage without Barriers" - what do you think of this quote ?

Sounds like something out of "1984."  "Freedom is Slavery," and that sort of thing.

i tried to google the quote but couldn't find it so i don't know it's context.

on a personal level, i have found that 'the more i submit, the more freedom i have'. i'm sure i'll get knocks for that, but on an existential level, that's the core of most philosophical and religious themes, in my opinion.
