"View CID" option doenst get displayed on panasonic KX-TG6052B?

Question

I have recently bought panasonic KX-TG6052B answering machine with cordless phone from US. There is no "View CID" option displayed above the soft keys, However the option "Phone Book" is displayed above the one of the soft keys.

I have caller ID facility enabled with my service provider. The old beetel instrument used to display the caller id information.

Can anybody throw some light on what could be the problem?

put in a new battery!!

did you turn on the CID on the softkeys???

you can do it only on the Main (Base) phone.....Menu>>>Global Setup>>>CID....next to the day&time...
