"Was not copied to the iPod because it cannot be played on the iPod?"?

Question

Ok, so I have a 30GB Video iPod, and I have the latest iTunes, and I download the VH1 Best Week Ever Podcast, but lately, almost all of the funny ones that I try to put on my iPod make this message pop up: "was not copied to the iPod because it cannot be played on the iPod." And I tried right clicking, and converting it to iPod, and I tried Windows Media Encoder, but when I do that, it says it doesn't have the codecs or something. Help, please, before I go blow up Apple headquarters.

Convert the video files, and then it can be played on your iPod,
