"We'll come back,” says Arizona Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson
The Arizona Diamondbacks’ are currently facing some tough times in the ongoing 2012 Major League Baseball season as they recently lost 3-1 to the Atlanta Braves in their four-game regular series matchup with a much humiliation.
However, the Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson is somewhat showing no signs of concerns and giving his team a positive push forward to bounce back with best of their abilities.
Lately Gibson has said with quite detail and explained why his team can bounce back in the next outings, "We'll come back. We'll be ready to go. We've got Ian on the mound. It's a broken record, but we've been through it before. We've got to push through. It's a little bit of mind over matter right now. They were pretty dominating. They have been all series.”
He added, “Our guys are trying. It just seems like when you try too hard you overthink it, and it's very hard to hit that way. It's not gloom or doom, It's not fun, nobody enjoys it. But it's a good character builder. We'll endure it. Nobody feels sorry for anybody here.”
On contrary to these recent defeats, the Arizona Diamondbacks have started quite well in the beginning as start of the 2012 MLB competition.
The Diamondbacks started their Opening Day campaign against the San Francisco Giants and rattled their dreams crushing them 3-0 in three match regular series matchup.
Next three match series they played against the San Diego Padres and also won it with 2-1, but fall short in their very next encounter with Colorado Rockies 2-1 while that was also the point where the Diamondbacks’ struggle continued losing two consecutive series from Pittsburgh Pirates and Atlanta Braves.
Currently playing against the Philadelphia Phillies, the Diamondbacks and their manager Gibson are showing the world an optimistic picture of getting out with ease.
Now it will be interesting to see how the Diamondbacks are going to play in their next encounters against the Miami Marlins, Washington Nationals, New York Mets, St Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Angels, Seattle Mariners, Chicago Cubs, and Atlanta Braves.
