"We are sorry, your bookmarks are currently unavailable. Please go to Yahoo! Bookmarks"?

The problem is: When I go to My Yahoo!, nine out of ten times (or rather nineteen out of twenty, but NOT every time) "Bookmarks" don't load and the message "We are sorry, your bookmarks are currently unavailable. Please go to Yahoo! Bookmarks" is displayed.

(1) I use Firefox version 2.0.0.11 and IE version 6.0 -- the problem persists with both browsers.

(2) Java Script is enabled in both browsers.

(3) I ensured that the latest Java Runtime Environment is installed on both browsers.

(4) Disabling (and even uninstalling) my antivirus, antispy, and firewall products didn't work either

(5) I also ensured that my computer account has administrative privilege

Please note that the problem occurs most times but (funnily) NOT every time.

Any ideas?

  1. I have had simular problems.  I think this site has been jacked up for the last week.  I can't figure out what the heck is going on.  GOOD LUCK

  2. yahoo knows there is plenty of problems with the bookmarks in my yahoo and say they are working to get it fixed, i sure hope it is soon/
