  1. It is not pleasure that we derive out of something that is important. The sense of satisfaction or the sense of achievement is so much more gratifying.


  2. It's true to some extent.  I worked hard to get my college diploma and did enjoy it, but can't say I loved it.  

    However, the greatest loves (and joys) have come to me unexpectedly.  My husband, my granddaughter, and all 3 of my dogs entered my life when I wasn't expecting them.  They've given me far more love than that college diploma could ever aspire to.
