Looking in 7,8,15,16 as has to be near the RER A going in the direction of La Defense. Open to other arrondisements if place is near RER A. Looking for cheapest place but not past Les Halles/Chatelet as that will be too far from La Defense area.

  1. You've received great websites.  Try also this one below.  Hope u find exactly what you want!!

  2. I can't offer anything better than this web site. It's absolutely everything you need.

    http://www.paristay.com/

It will show you arrondissments, availability, cost, address, utilities....everything.

    Tres bon!

  3. The biggest site you can look at is:

    http://www.pap.fr

You can choose which arrondissements you prefer/size/price/furnished or not.  (First, click on "Locations".  Choose the size.  Next, for the ville you can just type Paris, OR more specifically, the zip codes for your arrondissements:  75007, 75008, 75015, 75016.  You'll want "les locations meublées" (furnished) so check that box.  And then "Lancer la recherche!"

These listings come out every Thursday, and you have to call and make a deposit almost right away because a lot are gone by Saturday!

This is an especially good site if you're already in Paris because you can easily visit the apartments and go to the open houses.  If you do go to an open house, bring ALL your info with you--a copy of residence card (or the temporary one)/passport/visa/contract if you have one/bank statements if you have them/checkbook for the deposit and rent.  Not all landlords will ask for this, but some can be picky.

If you want to go through a company, look at this site:

    http://www.lodgis.com/

The advantage is that it has pictures.  The disadvantage is that you'll have to pay the company a hefty fee in addition to your deposit.  Ugh.

Finally, check a site for Anglophones living in Paris: http://www.fusac.fr

It has a few apartment listings, and the landlords are used to dealing with foreigners.

    Bon courage!
