"What is good"? some essay help?

so i'm writing an essay on what is good and of course i've written how for catholics its absolute...don't sin and its all good etc

i've written about how what is good could be flexible and adaptive to the situation etc

i've used philosopher's vardy,aquinas,Fletcher's to name a few

and i've realized my beginning is c**p,so i was wondering could people

1)give me a good way to start this essay

and

2)give me your thoughts and feeling on what is good

start with a statement or definition of good..

What is good? by definition good is...........  and lead into what you will be talking about

or what do you concider is good......
