  1. I'd go with "What is your favorite band" because 'who' sounds like you're referring to one direct person. A band is a group and not a single person. But as for grammar goes, I'm not sure which is the correct way as sometimes grammar amazes me at how wrong I can be. I failed it in 4th grade. =/
