"Wrong Disc" error message

Question

The DVD player played my movie for about an hour before the picture halted & the sound stopped altogether. Shortly after, I got a "Wrong Disk" message, similar to the posts I've read here re: the DVDV803 models. I tried the code 1389 idea, with no results (the regional menu does not come up). Perhaps the 'No Region' access code is different for my model. Perhaps this is an overheat malfunction. Any thoughts?
