"Your beautiful my wife" "to God be the glory"?

I am told that this is the way one should reply to affection from someone else......it really sounds like when we say "to God be the glory" were saying "didnt you know, God made me, go to your room and praise him, not me"......making it very hard to be affectionate with people....whats your thoughts

umm...your supposed to give God the glory...but you don't have to say it.....when someone gives you a compliment say thank you.....when your praying or something....thank God for what gifts He's given you....to God be the glory

Lol, go to your room and praise him. Can't argue with that. Maybe that's why everyone in Heaven is disembodied and celibate. Better than the alternative at least.

That's stupid. When my husband tells me I'm beautiful I just say, "I know, right?" and show him how great I think he is.
