Just think if Bush converted the $100 bill to $1 you could buy a tank of gas for only $1.50. You could go to Europe and buy lunch for only $2. A night on the town with an escort would only be $2.50. What is he waiting on?

The dollar is doing better these days but it is still backed by the faith and interest of the American people. Let's hope that China doesn't pull their bonds back and demand payment. The USA would go broke in heart beat.

I don't think bush could do it, because he is leaving office too soon. I think a natural depression is just waiting to happen though, with all of the debt and foreclosures around us. Even Ron Paul has released a statement about this very depression being probably in the future.
