My father would like to hit golf balls he found, but some look like they have been sitting in marsh land for 1 or 2 seasons!! some of them are really nice, he just needs to know weaher or not they can still be used

  1. yes - but there may be a very small performance loss. If you're just playing for fun then I would highly recommend playing with them - if you're playinjg tournament golf, use new balls.

  3. Sure you can still hit them. I would not use any of the ones that look weathered unless your afraid you might loose one of your good balls, like a water shot or maybe you've been slicing all day and it might go out of bounds in an irretrievable area.

  5. Most definitely. I live on a golf course and have a "tool" I use to retrieve golf balls from the ponds out on the links. Soon as I have a nice 5 gallon bucket full I just add water and some Clorox Bleach and the next day dry them off and they're ready to fly. I have lots of friends who play just for fun and they are always bumming golf balls, I've even sold a few to passing golfers. :)
