"dropped"?

my mother is in a rehab, for alcohol, and I went to go visit her, and she came out of the bathroom, and said "one second, I'm being dropped.." I'm guessing that she meant they were drug testing her, but I've never heard that before, was I right? is that what it meant?

**Yes thats a "testing" term...Basically comes from the big barrel at the door you "drop" your sample into after your done, and/or the "dropping" of your urine into the cup, as some refer to it.**

IVE BEEN to rehab 4 times but never heard it put that way , but yes it sounds like it .

Yes it means a drug test. Being dropped is more a term for somone on probation or parole moreso than just being in rehab though.
